Where Does Cork Come From?

Cork is the bark of the cork oak tree. We source our cork from Portugal, which is where most of the world’s cork production comes from. Harvesting the bark is a time-honored tradition that our local farmers pass down from generation to generation. Our farmers only harvest each tree every 9-10 years, and this process allows our trees to grow faster and live longer.

What Does Cork Look & Feel Like?

Our premium cork fabric is soft and durable. In addition, cork is waterproof, stain-resistant & easy to clean.

How Are the Bags Colored?

The colors (except our natural cork) are created by dying our cork fabric with organic vegetable dye. There are no harmful chemicals or glues in the creation of our cork products.

Does my Eve Cork bag need to be treated?

No, our premium cork fabric does not need to be treated or conditioned. Our cork fabric inherently makes our bags soft, stain-resistant, waterproof, hypoallergenic and antibacterial.

How do I clean my Eve Cork bag?

Since our material is stain resistant and waterproof, Eve Cork bags are easily cleaned. Simply use a cloth with gentle soap and water to wipe away any marks/dirt. Natural baby wipes that are free of harsh chemicals also work great.
